Barb Middelstadt Tribute

Recently the Elk River community lost a cherished community member with the passing of Barb Middelstadt. Barb and her husband Ron were CAER volunteers for many years, providing support and assistance to those in our community facing food insecurity. Her compassion and dedication touched the lives of many, not only through her work at CAER but also as a secretary at Vandenberg Middle School, and her involvement at her church St. John's Lutheran. The Boushek Foundation wants to continue her legacy of fighting hunger by offering a matching grant for all donations made in her name to CAER, up to $25,000. This amazing memorial will sustain and strengthen the mission of CAER by enabling us to continue providing essential food assistance to individuals and families in need, ensuring ongoing support for our community's most vulnerable members.
